Cost of Braces

Cost should never get in the way of your oral health – but getting braces is a significant investment. Straightening your teeth and improving your smile will give you lasting results that will benefit you for the rest of your life. Here at Comfort Dental Care and Orthodontics, we can answer any questions you may have about the cost of braces.

How Much Do Braces Cost?

Because every patient has different needs, the cost of orthodontic treatments like braces differ for everyone. Insurance plans also factor into the cost. In general, braces cost patients several thousands of dollars. Here at Comfort Dental Care and Orthodontics we aim to make your treatment as affordable as possible. We have outside financing through CareCredit® and OrthoBanc® available for people who need to make payments for an extended period of time.

What Is Included In The Cost Of Braces?

The cost of braces includes the following: the braces themselves, installation of the braces, all follow-up appointments, and a retainer if it’s needed after the braces are removed. Any repairs or replacements made due to a patient who loses or damages his or her retainer or braces will be an additional cost.

Does Insurance Cover The Cost Of Braces?

Insurance typically covers a portion of the costs related to getting braces. Speak with your dental insurance provider to find out exactly what is included in your plan.

How Much Are Braces Without Insurance?

Do not make the investment in braces without speaking with your dental insurance provider first. Braces can be very expensive, and it is important to weigh all of your financing options prior to agreeing to get braces without dental insurance.

Can I Get Financing?

At Comfort Dental Care and Orthodontics, we work with through CareCredit® and OrthoBanc® to give our patients payment plans that are flexible and more cost-effective. Additionally, we accept payment by cash, check and credit card.

Will My Flexible Spending Account Cover My Braces?

A Flexible Spending Account (FSA) is a different kind of coverage that many employers offer. It sets aside a small portion of your paycheck to cover specific medical and dental expenses. After incurring eligible medical fees, you will give your receipts to your employer. The company will reimburse you up to the amount you have set aside in the FSA.

Orthodontic treatments also qualify for reimbursement and braces are a perfect opportunity to use your FSA funds. Speak with your HR Department to make sure braces can be paid for this way. Your FSA account may be just what you need to let you have the beautiful smile you deserve.

Lydia M Lydia M.

"All my kids go there and enjoy the dentist and staff. Never once have they complained about the procedures they underwent. On a side note, my 15 year old loves to go there so she can jam out to the 80s music."

James B James B.

"Best dental service I have ever received. Made me, the customer, feel like their sole priority. Staff was engaging and knowledgeable, but more importantly did not mind spending the extra time to educate me about procedures/precautions. Outstanding."
