I love this dental office! I've had cleanings to implants done here and I have no complaints. Even my 2 sons go here again from cleanings to wisdom teeth out and just recently my autistic son who fears all needles had 5 fillings and 2 baby teeth pulled under oral sedation and it went great! Dr. Vasquez did a quick temporary fix to tide me over until I could take time off work for the permanent fix. They offer several types of relaxation methods to keep you calm during procedures. The dental hygenist, Colleen was quite good as well. They explain everything they were doing. The office staff is nice and helpful. I highly recommend Comfort Dental and specifically Dr. Vazquez.

I have been a patient with Comfort Dental since February and have had two cleanings, a tooth extraction, a sinus lift with bone graft, two dental implants and two fillings. Doctor Angel Vasquez performed all the procedures except for the cleanings and is an excellent dentist with a great patient interaction. Comfort Dental is very safety oriented with Covid precautions and their prices are reasonable and explained upfront before treatment begins. I highly recommend them.

The doctors help break everything down and help make sure you understand everything and makes it easy for you to get everything done in your treatment plan without overwhelming you with cost! Omg, I have never seen so many smiles in one place, even in the dentist office! Everyone is so nice, never had any long wait times to be brought back and the dentist is in shortly after. I haven't had the work done but I currently have a really bad infection and they got me setup with an oral surgeon really quick compared to other dental places. All of the staff that I interacted with today was super helpful and very kind. I had a lot of questions and concerns and I didn't leave with one of them being unanswered. No one really likes going to the dentist but I actually was relieved a little after I left today.

What Is the Procedure for Dental Crowns?

Dental crowns may often involve two visits – one in which the teeth is examined and prepared for the crown, and the other in which the placement of the permanent crown is set.

First, we take an impression of the teeth, combined with digital imaging data to determine where the crown will be placed. Next, the crown is manufactured before it is returned to our office, typically within 2-3 weeks of your initial appointment. During this time, we will make and place a temporary crown to help protect your teeth.

Preparing for Dental Crowns

Utilizing X-rays, we will check the roots of your teeth and the bone area to determine if it can support a crown. Your teeth and the area around it will be numbed for your comfort; we always make sure you are completely comfortable.

Recovery from Dental Crowns

During your second visit, the area around your tooth and gum may be numbed for your comfort in preparation for receiving your crown. Your tooth may be sensitive to the heat and cold immediately after your procedure, and you should avoid chewing hard, sticky, or chewy foods which can pull off the crown or cause it to break before it sets permanently.
